Fast Action Door Works - Longer Lead Times
At Lotinga, we have always tried our best to provide fast action door works for our customers.

However, in the past five or six years, we have had difficulty finding experienced engineers. At first, we thought it was a problem specific to the industrial door industry, but after talking to suppliers and customers, it appears to be widespread across manual work environments in general.
With a staff shortage and adding to that an increased workload, this is having a knock-on effect on our lead times.
Guidance on Fast Action Door Works
Therefore, we wanted to provide guidance on how to minimise disruption.
First and foremost, if your door develops a minor fault, don’t wait until it becomes a bigger problem.
If left unattended, the door may jam or stop working, which can be very disruptive to your business operations.

So, as soon as you experience a problem, get in touch.
Secondly, if you are considering purchasing a new door, place an order sooner rather than later. At the time of writing this post, we are sometimes experiencing a three to four month wait.
That does not mean we can’t accommodate emergencies. If you find yourself in a real bind, we will, if we can, shuffle our schedule around to help.
Don't Attempt Fast Action Door Works at Home
But most importantly, don’t try to fix it yourself. If you are not trained on these doors, you could cause further damage or even hurt yourself while attempting it.
If we can’t address your issue within the timescale you require, please consider finding another industrial door company that can, rather than attempting it yourself.
Rest assured, though, if we can’t help you in a timely fashion, we will be honest and say so. We would rather tell it like it is than string you along.
We are always at the end of the phone to provide advice, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
