Roller Shutter Doors
Roller Shutters are the staple of most industrial door companies.
Parts are generally easy to obtain. However, our shutter motors and controls do come from Germany, so for warehouse doors with large motors, there can sometimes be a wait for delivery.
Sectional Overhead Doors
Sectional Overhead Door parts consist primarily of tracks running up and over the ceiling with springs and cables to balance the door. Cables are kept in stock, although changing them is quite a process.
However, springs must be made to suit, which can take time. So if your door becomes heavy to pull up or creeps down on its own, you probably have a spring issue that needs addressing quickly. Not only to minimise the time your opening is out of action but also to ensure the safety of staff operating the door.
Personnel Doors
Personnel doors are relatively simple, so getting replacement parts is not generally a headache. But please be aware that we sometimes have to order specific locking mechanisms; therefore, it does not pay to be complacent if your door starts to play around.
