Agricultural Barn Doors
We love working in the country installing agricultural barn doors. There are many different types available. In this project we concentrate on Sliding Doors.
This horse sand school building had an old pair of metal sliding doors over its entrance. The customer wanted a similar door, but something more attractive.
These sliding agricultural barn doors consist of box-section frames clad with 9mm hardwood ply. The external faces are decorated with vertically treated 150 x 25mm boards.
Each door has internal drop bolts and is securely locked outside with a central sash hook-style lock. All with a Matt Black finish.
In addition to these sliding doors, the customer also chose a roller shutter and three personnel door sets.
The roller shutter operates using 240v power and a rocker switch. Alternative methods of operation are available and can be found on our accessories page.
