Industrial Acoustic Doors
If noise control is essential for your premises, then an Industrial Acoustic Door is what you need.
Acoustic doors are specialised Industrial doors designed to reduce sound transmission.
They are ideal in factories, workshops, plant rooms or even studios where you don't want noise to bleed into other areas.
These doors can also provide fire protection, security and durability in heavy industrial environments.

Industrial Acoustic doors are constructed from dense materials. These materials could be steel cores or composite acoustic panels, as shown here.
The doors use seals and acoustic gaskets, which eliminate sound leakage.

Industrial Acoustic Doors use decibels (dB) to provide an Rw rating. The Rw (Weighted Sound Reduction Index) can range from 35dB, moderate sound reduction, to 60dB or higher for high performance.
If an acoustic rating is not the most essential specification you require; for example, if a high security rating or fire rating is paramount, then please let us know when contacting us.
For clarification, regarding acoustic fire-rated doors. They use a multi-layer construction that includes acoustic insulation cores and fire-rated seals. Performance-wise, they are often rated between Rw 35-50dB and FD30-FD120 (fire rating). These combined specification doors are popular amongst power stations.
In addition to the folding door featured above, industrial acoustic doors can come in various other door forms; for example, Steel Personnel Doors, Roller Shutter Doors, Sectional Overhead Doors and Sliding Doors.
